On 27 September 2018 MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum- Navjeevan team conducted an awareness talk on Organ Donation at Tagore Nursing College, Jaipur, Rajasthan with the help of AU Small Finance Bank.
Tagore Nursing College (TNC) is a Nursing college located in Jaipur, Rajasthan. It is affiliated to Rajasthan University of Health Sciences. It is recognized from Indian Nursing Council New Delhi. The college has a private management. Established in 2010, it is Tagore Nursing College (TNC) offers various courses like Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc. Nursing).and independent training placement cell.
Dr. Amla Batra and Mr. Roshan Bahadur represented the MFJCF team.
Mrs. Jyoti along with 120 students welcomed MFJCF team members and invited Dr. Amla Batra to deliver the talk.
Dr. Anla Batra gave a knowledge full presentation and covered following points.
1. Live and Cadaver organ donation.
2. Difference between coma and brain death.
3. Brief introduction about donors.
Some questions were asked and answered by MFJCF team members.
1. Who can donate organs?
2. My friend is in need of organ how will you help him?
3. Who is responsible to declare a patient brain dead?
After the session all took donor cards and posed with organ donation message board and banners for the photographs and promised to spread the awareness among friends and family.
