On 02 February 2019 MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum- Navjeevan team conducted an awareness talk on Organ Donation at Parishkar College of Global Excellence, Jaipur, Rajasthan with the help of AU Small Finance Bank.
Parishkar College of Global Excellence is an Institution which has been established with a view to fulfilling the requirements of both the Govt. Mr. PC Jain , Mrs. Hemlata Shah and Mr. Roshan Bahadur from MFJCF attended the session.
Dr. Alok K Chaturvedi (Principal) and Mr. Ashish Khandelwal (Programme officer NSS) along with 100 NSS students attended the session and got sensitized about the noble cause.
Mr. PC Jain gave presentation and covered following points.
1. Concept of brain death and organ donation.
2. Types of organ donation.
3. Organ donation scenario in India
Some questions were asked and answered by MFJCF team members.
1. How can we pledge for organ donation and why do we need to do?
2 How long it takes to transplant organs after retrieval from donor body?
3. Who can donate organs?
After the session all the students picked up donor cards and posed with organ donation message board and banners for the photographs and promised to spread the awareness among friends and family.
