The Chennai Trade Centre hosted the 58th Annual Conference of the Urology Society of India (USICON) from January 9–12, 2025. The history, current advancements, and prospects of urology were showcased at an exhibition at one of CIPLA's "Gateway to the Future of Urology" pavilions. They set up the award-winning display, "Life before Ashes," as part of their pavilion in collaboration with the MOHAN Foundation.
The MOHAN Foundation arranged the exhibit of four organs manufactured from mud and human ashes in a very tasteful way. The exposition was visited by all 900 delegates. Many are struck for a few minutes by the idea of organ wasted.
With the help of Mr. Mahesh, the Organ Donation Ambassador, MOHAN Foundation staff members Mr. Ganesh, Ms. Yamini, and Dr. Hemal Kanvinde were at the booth, and over 45 donor cards were picked up, along with a few educational books that were kept for display. MOHAN Foundation is grateful to CIPLA for the chance to share the exhibit at a conference.
