MOHAN Foundation was invited by Dr. Vidya Sagar to participate in the launch of tissue bank at Aware Global Hospitals on June 28, 2015 and has requested to engage all the NGOs and concerned authorities with organ and tissue donation.
Dr. Vidya Sagar gave an exclusive presentation on the importance of tissue donation especially of tendons and the extent that this can bring happiness among the people that have lost tendons during accidents. Mrs. Lalitha Raghuram, Country Director of MOHAN Foundation, appreciated the efforts of Dr. Vidya Sagar and extended her support in strengthening the initiative. There were about 50 participants from other NGOs, Eye Banks that have participated in the event.
We thank Dr. Vidya Sagar for inviting us and giving us the opportunity in organizing this event and also thank all the participants for their active participation.
