

On 28th September 2022, MOHAN Foundation conducted an interactive session at Nirmaan Organisation. Dr Bhanu Prakash was the key resource. The session was organised by Mr.Mohan Nistala, District Chair, Rotary – Organ Donation.
Nirmaan Organisation, or My India, is a voluntary organization formed by the students of Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani, It focuses on providing education and employment opportunities to economically challenged people of the society.
Dr. Bhanu Prakash started the session by asking a few introductory questions on Organ Donation and then introduced MOHAN Foundation to the participants and kept the audience engaged throughout the session. The following were discussed in detail:
Dr Bhanu Prakash spoke about the future of Organ Donation in India and gave a detailed session on grief counselling and asked a few interesting questions to the participants and also explained the importance of family consent in Organ Donation.
Close to 60 donor cards were distributed.
