On 24 March 2018, Mr. Avinash Shegaonkar Secretary of Shri Sai Baba Temple invited MOHAN Foundation on the occasion of Shri Sai Baba Amruta Katha to set an information stall in the premises of temple. MOHAN Foundation, Nagpur Director Dr. Ravi Wankhede & transplant coordinator Mr. Bulu Behera managed the stall with donor cards, brochures, banners.
Dr. Ravi Wankhede gave information on importance of organ donation, types of organ donation, difference between coma and brain death, difference between natural death & brain death. He also gave a clear talk on tissues and organs that can be donated under different circumstances, age limit for organ donation & he explain how the religious gurus allowed for organ donation.
Approximately 25 devotees visited the information desk, 5 of them signed the consent form and picked their donor cards.
