On 29th October, 2012, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mr. Surender & Family for creating the awareness about organ donation on the occasion of his daughter Baby. Neelothpala Neha Sai’s first birthday (Oct 29th, 2012). He was influenced by his mother Mrs.Lakshmi Kumari’s thought and interest on organ donation. He approached MOHAN Foundation and all his family members agreed and joined hands to support the cause. Organ donation brochures were distributed to all the guests. Whoever was interested came back and took the donor card. Around 250 members attended the function. The family strongly felt that cause which gives life to many people can be spread anytime and anywhere. It is definitely not bad to promote the cause in birthday parties because according to them, it is enhancing one’s life and not speaking about death. They also appreciated the work done by MOHAN Foundation. They also mentioned that if someone came forward for organ donation on this day, it’s really a blessing for our child. Organ donation is not a misfortune but it is a fortune for many. MOHAN Foundation team was happy to be part of such event.
