MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mr. Sharad Jighkar, Regional Transport Officer, Giripeth, Nagpur to conduct an awareness session on organ donation. It was meant for drivers who apply for vehicles registration and driving license. The talk was held on 21 April 2017.
Mr. Bulu Behera delivered a talk on Organ Donation. In his talk he explained the following points:-
It was a very interactive session. 25 drivers were present at the talk. 4 drivers signed consent form and took donor card.
The drivers asked the following questions:-
1) Which state does more organ transplant in India?
2) Does MOHAN Foundation provide any financial support by to donor family?
3) What is the difference between coma and brain death?
