MOHAN Foundation was invited by Dr. D. T. Powar, Regional Transport Officer, Nagpur to conduct an awareness session on organ donation for drivers who apply for vehicle registration and driving license on 9 February 2016.
Mr. Bulu Behera delivered a talk on Organ donation. In his talk he explained the following points-
It was a very interactive session. Approximately 30 drivers were present during the talk. 8 drivers took the consent form they will discuss with their family members then sign consent form.
The Participants asked the following questions:-
What importance bone marrow in our body?
Where is pancreas in our body and cam it regenerate?
If pancreas will be damage than which problem happen in our body?
