On 21stNovember 2023, MOHAN foundation an awareness talk on Organ Donation for B Pharm students, Division 2 of Oriental College of Pharmacy at Sanpada. The session was organized with help of Mrs. Vishakha Susre. who is the In-charge person of the Institute. The aim of this talk was to spread awareness and sensitize students and faculty about organ and body donation.
Ms.Prarthana, gave a brief introduction of MOHAN foundation and its role in organ donation and its activities then she elaborated what is organ donation and body donation and the basic concepts of organ donation.
Following topics were discussed on organ and body donation during interaction:
Organs and tissues donated after brain death and circulatory death
The motive of the camp was to create awareness among the students about organ and body donation. There were 116 participants were sensitised session all of them took online pledge for organ donation
