


The British Deputy High Commissioner, Mr. Mike Nithavrianakis visited the office on 1st August 2013 to interact with the staff and learn about our work. Dr. Sumana Navin gave a short presentation on “Journey of MOHAN Foundation”. She highlighted the early days of MOHAN Foundation, the training program, the counseling services, the awareness programs and networking activities of the MOHAN Foundation. Mr. Mike Nithavrianakis was impressed with our work and promised to assist in all ways possible specially to make links with similar organization in the UK like NICE. He said that MOHAN Foundation is carrying out a silent revolution in the deceased organ donation and possibly at a fraction of the costs incurred in UK for similar programs. He met the transplant coordinators and wished them well. Dr. Shroff thanked him for his time and interest.
