Updated on Friday, February 7, 2025
  • On 7th and 8th February,

A stall on organ donation awareness was successfully set up at the Sustainability Fest 2025, organized by the Jaipur School of Business, JECRC University. The initiative aimed to educate attendees about the importance of organ donation and promote a culture of giving for a greater cause. Ms.Priyanka Bhatt- Project Manager- MFJCF and Ms.Khushi Chawda-Intern MFJCF enthusiastically managed the stall, ensuring active engagement and outreach.

The highlight of the event was the participation of PC Jain Sir on 8th February, who used creative and impactful methods to attract students. He shared relatable analogies, such as comparing organ donation to the recycling of old books. Just like books can pass on knowledge even after they are no longer in use, organs can give life to others even after death. His inspiring words left a lasting impression on the attendees, encouraging them to consider the importance of organ donation.

Office staff went above and beyond by visiting more than 20 stalls during the event. Ms. Priyanka took the lead in explaining this noble cause to everyone, sharing insightful information about organ donation and how it can save lives. Ms.Khushi captured the entire journey through her photography skills, documenting key moments such as interactions at the stall, group discussions, and the enthusiastic participation of students and professors. Together, they clicked photos with each stall’s members and encouraged them to follow their social media platforms for more updates and awareness posts.

A special mention goes to Tina Jangid, a BCA student from JECRC University, who expressed keen interest in the cause. Tina volunteered at the stall for both days, actively assisting Priyanka and Khushi in spreading awareness. Her dedication and enthusiasm significantly contributed to the success of the initiative.

The event garnered immense support from both students and professors. The active participation, creative outreach methods, and collective commitment reflected a shared goal of promoting organ donation and fostering a sense of responsibility toward the cause. Through their efforts, Priyanka and Khushi ensured the event was not just informative but also visually impactful and widely appreciated.

Close to 100 visitors sensitized in Two days of the fest.
