Awareness talk on Organ Donation was conducted by MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum (MFJCF)- Navjeevan team at Vimalpura Panchayat, Govindgarh, Jaipur to make villagers aware about the noble cause on 10.04.2018.
Mrs. Ranju Jain represented the MFJCF- Navjeevan team.
Mr. Ramgopal Meena (Sarpanch) and Mr. Mool Chand Meena (General Secretary) and mmore than 50 villagers attended the session and got sensitized.
With the help of PowerPoint presentation and video based on brain death Mrs. Ranju Jain described the concept of organ donation to audience which was highly appreciated.
During the session some questions were asked by audience and answered by MFJCF- Navjeevan team members, like-
1. How does liver grow after donation when we are alive?
2. I am too old can I donate my organs after death?
3. Do we need to carry donor card with us all the time?
After the session 30 villagers took the donor card and posed with message board " I SUPPORT ORGAN DONATION". And pledged to make more people aware on the subject.
