On 13.04.2018 MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum(MFJCF) - Navjeevan team conducted an awareness talk on organ donation for the residents of Manda Bhinda Panchayat,Govindgarh, Jaipur.
Col. Lokesh Shukla and Mr. Pavan Kumar Dubey represented the MFJCF- Navjeevan team.
Mrs. Sarita Devi (Sarpanch) and Mr. Radhyshyam Nardiya (General Secretary) along with 50 villagers attended the session and got sensitized about noble cause organ donation.
Mrs.Sarita Devi thanked MFJCF- Navjeevan team for the awareness talk and invited Col. Lokesh Shukla to deliver the talk.
With the help of Presentation and Video based on organ donation and brain death, concept of Organ Donation, Need of Organs and Transplant Act were explained by the members which was highly appreciated by the villagers.
During the session some questions were asked by audience and answered by the MFJCF- Navjeevan members, like-
1. Is the hand transplantation is happening in India?
2. How many organs can be transplanted in recipient body?
3. What should I do to become an ambassador of organ donation?
After the enthralling session all 50 villagers took the donor card to pledge for their organs and also posed with message board "I Support Organ Doantion". They promised to spread the awareness about organ donation in friends and family.
