MOHAN Foundation on 18th March 2025, conducted an awareness talk on the importance of organ donation at Narayana Hrudayalaya hospital at the 20th anniversary of the renal sciences department to the dialysis patients and the renal transplant recipients and the donors to create awareness about renal transplants among patients undergoing dialysis
Ms. Ranjini Shankar MS, Project Manager and Mr. Nagendra Kumar, transplant coordinator represented MOHAN Foundation.
Ms. Ranjini was the main speaker, she began her talk by giving an overview of the workshop, introducing Mr. Somanna and thanking NephroPlus for the opportunity. The following points were the highlight of the talk delivered:
Around 850 members attended the session, among them 230 members took the pledge to donate the organs by collecting the donor cards.
