On 22nd November 2019 MOHAN Foundation was invited for installation of informative stall and for giving awareness to learners coming for seeking driving license at RTO Wadala about the Organ Donation.
Dr Jimmy held few frequent awareness sessions and introduced Mohan Foundation, its mission, vision and philanthropy. She introduced the concept of Organ and tissue donation. She also explained the types of death viz. Cardiac and Brain Death and the organs and tissues that can be donated. She elaborated the procedure about bone donation which was new topic for the Learners. She also described that tissue donation (skin & eyes) can happen even at home. She also insisted everyone to pledge for Organ Donation and show willingness to become Organ Donor by consenting it while applying for Driving License.
