On November 09, 2022, MOHAN Foundation was invited to conduct an awareness session on organ donation for the students pursuing livelihood training from ICICI Academy For Skills, Karol Bagh, New Delhi. The session was part of a drive that is being conducted by MOHAN Foundation (MF), pursuant to collaboration between Transplants Help the Poor Foundation and ICICI Foundation. MOHAN Foundation works closely with Transplants Help the Poor Foundation. As part of the campaign, sessions to raise awareness will be held at other ICICI Foundation locations in different cities across India.
Dr. Muneet Kaur Sahi, Programme Manager, MOHAN Foundation NCR, was the resource person and Ms. Simran Anand, Program Officer, MOHAN Foundation accompanied her.
Ms. Isha Bajaj Sharma, Faculty cum Centre In-charge, ICICI Foundation for Inclusive Growth, New Delhi coordinated with MOHAN Foundation to organize these sessions. The sessions were held for two groups of 35 and 45 female students between the ages of 18 and 30. The morning session was conducted by Dr. Muneet, while the afternoon session was led by Ms. Simran Anand.
Ms. Isha welcomed the MOHAN Foundation faculty and introduced them to the students and the purpose of the talk. Dr. Muneet took a short introductory round with the students and formed a rapport with them. She began the session by asking participants about their understanding of organ donation. Participants from both groups engaged in a highly interactive discussion about the topic.

Participants of both batches shared their views on every topic discussed in the session, and many of them shared their families' experiences with organ donation. Many of them shared their willingness to donate their organs. They got very motivated when their faculty member, Ms. Isha, shared her experience of pledging for OD and convincing her spouse and family to do the same.
