MOHAN Foundation was invited by the organizing committee of Arambh Township to conduct awareness on Organ Donation on May 15, 2016 at Arambh Township, Serlingampally, Hyderabad.
The session was organized at their community hall as a part of community service along with eye checks by L.V Prasad Eye Institute. This township has over 1200 families, and they were very keen to know about organ donation.
Mrs. Lalitha Raghuram, Country Director, MOHAN Foundation explained the concept of Brain Death and organ donation to the participants and clarified their doubts on Organ Donation. After the session, information stall was arranged at the premises and about 150 members visited the stall and all of them collected Donor Cards and information brochures.
