On October 1, 2022 Ms. Laishram Monica Devi, Programme Officer and Ms. Thoidingjam Udayini Khuman, Transplant Co-ordinator MOHAN Foundation were invited to conduct awareness cum interaction programme on organ donation for the executives and volunteers at Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) Manipur State Branch, MG Avenue, Imphal.
The session was coordinated by Dr. Senjam Sunil, Finance Secretary, IRCS Manipur State Branch. The core participants of the programme included Shri Rajkumar Nimai Singh (Retired IAS), Legal advisor- Karkinos Healthcare, Manipur, Mr. Narendra Ningombam (Renowned Manipuri Artist) along with the executives and volunteers of the society.
Ms. Monica conducted the session by introducing MOHAN Foundation, its objectives and mission. She explained the concepts of organ donation by using a PowerPoint presentation. The programme was made more interactive as the executives shared their personal experiences related to organ donation. Some of the topics which came to the limelight were:
The executives and volunteers appreciated the team for taking the right step at the right time. MF team was also invited to conduct more programmes on organ donation under the aegis of Indian Red Cross Society Manipur State Branch.
