Awareness Talk organized by MOHAN Foundation for the D Group Staff of Bowring Hospital Bengaluru

  • Mrs. Ranjini Shankar MS conducted an awareness talk on organ donation to the D Group staff of Bowring hospital bengaluru on 09th December 2023 at 03pm. Around 76 members attended the session.

    MOHAN Foundation was represented by Mrs. Ranjini Shankar MS (Project Manager) and Mr. Surya Prakash (Program Coordinator) MOHAN Foundation.

    Mrs. Ranjini Shankar was the key speaker.

    Following topics were discussed in detail:

    • The concept of organ and tissue donation
    • The types of death i.e., circulatory death and brain death
    • Brain Death declaration
    • Myths and facts related to organ donation
    • Green corridor
    • The role of Jeevasarthakathe
    • Transplant Law
    • Importance of a donor card

     

    All the audience coordinated enthusiastically and supported the cause by taking the pledge for organ donation.

    MOHAN Foundation conveys its gratitude to the Bowring Hospital for choosing to support this life-saving cause.
