Under the aegis of India's Leading Newspaper Dainik Bhaskar and Hindustan Zinc, MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum-Navjeevan team conducted an awareness talk on organ donation at Swift College, Bhilwara, Rajasthan to make civilians aware about the noble cause of organ donation on 01.05.2018.
More than 300 students of class 11 and12th attended the session and got sensitized about the noble cause.
Dr. Mustaq Khan (Deputy CMHO) and Dr. Nisha Mathur (Professor Maths) were the guest of program.
Mr. Sourabh , Representative of Dainik Bhaskar welcomed Mr. PC Jain and invited him to deliver talk.
During the talk Mr. PC Jain put light on need of organ donation, brain death demand and supply of organs with the help of presentation and videos.
Some questions were asked and answered by the members during the session
1. What is the difference between brain death and coma?
2. Who can be an organ donor?
After the session Dr. Mustaq Khan and Dr. Nisha Mathur addressed the audience and appeal them to spread awareness for organ donation, they also thanked MOHAN Foundation Jaipur Citizen Forum to conduct such awareness talk at Bhilwara. 250 people took the donor cards and guests posed with organ donation message board "I SUPPORT ORGAN DONATION"
