On 28th January 2023, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mr. Waseem Ahmad, NSS Program Officer to conduct an awareness talk on organ donation for their NSS Volunteers. Around 53 Students attended the session.
Mr. Waseem Ahmad addressed the gathering and gave a brief introduction on organ donation to the NSS Volunteers.
Ms. Neha Sharma Katoch began the session by explaining the full form of MOHAN. She informed the audience that MOHAN is not someone’s name but an acronym. She explained the basic concepts of organ donation and transplantation with the help of a simple PowerPoint presentation.

The session was very interactive where students enthusiastically asked many questions. All the questions were answered after the presentation. The entire group got motivated and convinced to support organ donation. 7 NSS Volunteers took the donor cards. They would love to share their wish with their families and also respect for the body after death.
