On 16th February 2022, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mrs. Monika, NSS Program Officer, to conduct an awareness talk on organ donation for their NSS volunteer at Govt. Model Senior Secondary School, Behlana, Chandigarh. Around 27 students attended the session.
Participants were given an introduction and presentation on organ donation and brain death by Ms. Neha Sharma Katoch.
In this talk, she explained the following points: -
The entire group got motivated and convinced to support organ donation. 5 NSS volunteer pledged their organs and took the donor cards. They would love to share their wish with their families and also respect for the body after death. Brochures were also given to the participants.
