On 16th February 2022, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mrs. Monika, NSS Program Officer, to conduct an awareness talk on organ donation for their senior students at Govt. Model Senior Secondary School, Behlana, Chandigarh. Around 30 students attended the session.
Participants were given an introduction and presentation on organ donation and brain death by Ms. Neha Sharma Katoch.
In this talk, she explained the following points: -
At the end of the session, Ms. Neha explained the importance of eye donation and the whole process of eye donation. She motivated the audience to pledge for eye donation. She also explained how one could pledge to be an organ donor. The entire group got motivated and convinced to support organ donation.
