In association with the Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC), MOHAN Foundation put up an organ donation awareness stalls on the 14th and 15th October 2021 at Nagpur. Mr. Bulu Behera, Transplant Coordinator of MOHAN Foundation had met with Dr. Sunil Kambde, Head of Health Department at the NMC office in Laxmi Nagar to seek permission to put up the stalls. The stall on the 14th October was set up at Indora and the stall on 15th October was in Deekshabhoomi.
The stalls were set up with banner, standee, information brochures and donor cards. Mr. Behera gave information on the following topics:
Around 1500 visitors visited the stall in Indora and 30 of them signed up as organ donors and received their donor cards. Similarly, at Deekshabhoomi, of the 2000 visitors that the stall received, 20 of them signed up as organ donors. The Foundation is thankful to NMC for the opportunity.
