On 19th October 2023, MOHAN Foundation was invited to conduct an awareness talk on organ donation at Jeeva Jyoti Blood Bank, Laxmi Nagar, Nagpur. Mr.Bulu Behra, Transplant Coordinator, MOHAN Foundation, Nagpur was the key speaker who began the session by explaining the current rate of organ donation and the gap between the demand and supply of organs. He then explained the basic concepts of organ donation and transplantation with the help of a PowerPoint presentation.

The session was very interactive where participants curiously contributed to the discussion & asked many queries. To name a few
1) What is the process to pledge for Organ donation?
2) Career prospects & training in Organ Donation & Transplantation.
15 members attended the session & 2 of them pledged for the eye donation & organ donation.
