6th August, 2013 was marked as National Organ Donation Day. To observe this day; MOHAN Foundation, Chennai was invited by PSG Medical College, Coimbatore to conduct a session on Organ Donation. Mr. Ananth R, Transplant Coordinator, MOHAN Foundation, Chennai was the chief guest for the event. Dr. Nanthini, Principal, PSG Medical College, Coimbatore also attended the session.
Mr. Ananth spoke about the activities of MOHAN Foundation and also gave a brief introduction to organ donation. There were a total of 340 participants which included both the staff and the students of PSG Medical College. Every member of the audience picked up a donor card.
