On 17th May 2018, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Mrs Saroj Savant, Principal, M.R.A Senior Secondary Model School, Sector 27-A, Chandigarh to conduct an awareness talk on Organ Donation for their NSS Students. Approximately 40 students from class 12th attended the session.
Mr. Manoj Kalia, PGT Physical Education addressed the students and gave a brief introduction on Organ Donation to their students. Students were given an introduction & presentation on how important is Organ donation and tissue donation and too many people waiting for transplant by Ms. Aakriti Negi.
In this talk she explained the following points: -
All the students got motivated and convinced to support organ donation. Students did applaud in the end for the efforts taken by MOHAN Foundation.
Few questions were asked by the students
1. In which case organ cannot be transplanted?
2. How skin can be donated?
All the questioned have been answered in the end and they would love to share their wish with their family members.
