On 8th August, 2013 an awareness session on organ donation was organized at Kalyani Kidney Care Centre, Erode. MOHAN Foundation, Chennai was invited to conduct the session. The initiative to organize the session was taken by Dr. M. Prabakaran; Urologist and Managing Director, Kalyani Kidney Centre, Erode. It was organized in association with the Rotary Club and Geethanjali School, Erode. Around 600 students attended the session.
Mr. Ananth R, Transplant Coordinator, MOHAN Foundation, Chennai addressed the gathering and explained about the various concepts related to deceased organ donation. The interactive session helped the school children to clarify their doubts.
