On 10th December 2019, MOHAN Foundation was invited by Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Hyderabad for an awareness session on organ donation and its importance in our country. There were 100 participants for the awareness program.
Mr. Sachin Sunny, Transplant Co-ordinator of MOHAN Foundation, started the session with an interaction with students about organ donation and the basic concepts about it. Dr. Bhanu Prakash, Transplant Co-Ordinator of MOHAN Foundation started with an introduction of MOHAN Foundation and the importance of organ donation in the current scenario. It was an interactive session with question and answers. Many of them were having doubts and misconception about organ donation and it was clarified.
Participants were interested to hear the concepts of organ donation and expressed keen interest in promoting organ donation. Every one came up to register for organ donation and picked up the donor cards. They assured that they would create awareness within their family and in their friend’s circle. The college management has shown an interest to work with us in the future too.
