On May 28, 2022, Ms. Laishram Monica Devi (Programme Officer) and Mr. Takhellambam Yaiphaba Singh (Transplant Co-Ordinator) visited Yaiphaba Hotel, Thangal Bazar, Manipur to deliver a talk on organ donation.
The session was attended by Mr. Paonam Prem, General Manager along with Mrs. Takhellambam Momoko (F&B Manager), Ms. Sharon (HR Manager), Ms. Margaret (Sales Manager),Mr. Seram Hongba Singh (HOD-Security) & the administrative staffs and management staffs of Hotel Yaiphaba.
Ms. Laishram Monica Devi started the session by introducing MOHAN Foundation and its services to promote Organ Donation in the society. For more lucid information the session was conducted in Manipuri language. She conversed more in depth on pledging to be an organ donor and clarifying the myths of Organ Donation.
Monica also lauded Mr. Paonam Prem for being the second person in the state who had pledged for organ donation through MOHAN Foundation, Imphal Branch.
Mr. Paonam Prem shared what motivated him to take the pledge and encouraged his team to support organ donation. He thanked & acknowledged MOHAN Foundation for its work and for starting its operations in North India specially, Manipur.
The session was concluded by Mr. Takhellambam Yaiphaba Singh by briefing the impact of Organ donation in saving lives.
Close to 47 participants attended the session.
