On 24th December 2018, MOHAN Foundation was invited by the NSS Program Officer Mr. Sanjeev to conduct an awareness talk on Organ Donation for their NSS Students at Govt. Model Senior Secondary School, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Approximately 70 students from class 12th and 2 teachers attended the session.
Mr. Sanjeev, NSS Program Officer addressed the students and gave a brief introduction on Organ Donation to their students.
Students were given an introduction & presentation on the importance of Organ donation and tissue donation by Ms. Neha Sharma.
In her talk she explained the following points: -
All the students got motivated to support the cause of organ donation and around 30 students pledged for organ donation.
Few questions that were asked by the students
All the questions were answered at the end and participants expressed that they would love to share their wish with their family members and also raise awareness on Organ Donation.
