On 24th May 2018, MOHAN Foundation was invited by the Genius International Public School, Ner Chowk, Mandi, Himachal Pradesh to conduct an awareness talk on organ donation for their students which was held in a classroom. Around 37 studentsfrom class 12th participated in the program.
Mrs. Sapna Thakur, Chemistry Lecturer addressed the gathering and gave a brief introduction on organ donation to the participants.
Firstly, Aruna Kumari Salwani introduced herself to the students and after that she asked the questions from students to check their knowledge about organ donation and transplantation.
Participants were given an introduction and presentation on organ donation and brain death by Ms. Aruna Kumari Salwani.
In this talk she explained the following points: -
All the students were motivated and assured that they would spread the message of Organ Donation and take a pledge to donate the organs.
