This informative gathering aimed to enlighten hospital staff and the relatives of patients about the intricacies of organ donation, focusing on dispelling prevalent myths that often hinder individuals from considering this life-saving option.

    The session began with an overview of the importance of organ donation, emphasizing the role that healthcare professionals play in facilitating the process. Participants engaged in discussions about the procedures involved in organ donation and transplantation, shedding light on the rigorous safeguards put in place by government authorities to prevent malpractices and ensure the integrity of this noble act.

    In collaboration with the transplant team at Gujarat Kidney Multispecialty Hospital, the MOHAN Foundation provided valuable insights into the registration processes with SOTTO (State Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization) and NTORC (National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organization).
