  • On August 14, 2024, in celebration of World Organ Donation Day, B. R. Mundle College of Arts & Commerce hosted a sensitization session on organ and tissue donation. The event began with opening remarks from Principal Dr. Mohan Nagrale, who emphasized the significance of organ donation.

The MOHAN Foundation was invited to educate the final-year Arts and Commerce students about the organ donation process. Ms. Veena from the foundation conducted an engaging and informative session, which included case studies to illustrate the impact of organ donation.

The event saw a strong turnout, with nearly 80 students and 10 staff members attending. Both students and staff were inspired to make a commitment, and as a result, Lecturer Seema Page and several other staff members pledged to donate their organs.
