MOHAN Foundation setup an information stall in Anna Adarsh College for Women, Chennai on 5th September on the occasion of International Day of Charity which also happens to be Teacher’s Day in India. The stall was manned by MOHAN Foundation staff Mr. Siva Shankar accompanied by Angels of Change Bhavanisri and Vinodha from the college.
The stall which was set up in front a conference hall, aimed at spreading the message of organ donation among the teachers of the college. The stall had information brochures on organ donation, donor cards and other promotional material. The Angels of Change explained the concept of organ donation to the stall visitors. It was also fun in the stalls as teachers attempted to put together jigsaw puzzles of various organs like kidney and liver. They were also presented with small gifts for their participation.
Around 30 members registered and supported organ donation by pledging their organs and receiving their donor cards.
