On August 16, 2024, Aadarsh High School in Kanhan, Nagpur, celebrated World Organ Donation Day with enthusiasm by organizing a Rangoli and Poster Competition for high school students. The event was coordinated by Ms. Prarthana Dwivedi, who guided and arranged the competitions around the theme of ‘Organ Donation.’
Total 120 students attended the session. Students were eager to participate and showcase their creativity through vibrant Rangoli designs and insightful posters. A total of 14 students took part in the Rangoli competition, creating eye-catching designs that highlighted the importance of organ donation. Their artwork was displayed in the assembly hall, attracting significant attention from the school community.
Mrs. Puja Tiwari, the Principal and Administrator of the school, further motivated the students by sharing her valuable insights and real-life examples related to organ donation. She emphasized the significance of the cause and used the event as a platform to raise awareness among the younger generation. Mrs. Tiwari's inspiring words underscored the importance of promoting organ donation through such creative initiatives.
